ITT is the only professional membership body for individuals employed in the travel and tourism industry; one of the largest
trade sectors in the UK, the industry employs over 120,000 people.

ITT is dedicated to developing and maintaining professional standards for the benefit of its members and the industry. ITT also welcomes travel and tourism students as members of the Institute.

We organise monthly regional networking evenings, golf days, informal suppers and conferences aimed at all levels of membership, from Students to Fellows. Please check the website for regular updates about ITT’s training and education activities as well as our forthcoming events.

ITT Board Election Results

Steven Freudmann has been overwhelmingly re-elected to the ITT Board as the Travel Agency representative, with 70% of the votes cast and the highest number of votes ever recorded in an ITT election. The four successful candidates in the General category were current Board members Wendy Hartley, Claire Steiner and Martin Roberts, with Barbara Kolosinska as a new Board member. Giles Hawke and Ande Soteri were elected unopposed in the Sea and Hospitality categories respectively. The new Board will take effect from the AGM on 4 August.
