Stephen Bath has been in the travel business for 47 years, and was President of ABTA for three years starting in 2000. He sold the 90 year old family business of Bath Travel with 67 branches to John Hays in 2013, since which time he has bought an air ambulance business, and also started writing and publishing magazines in his home town of Christchurch Dorset.

He has held a pilots license for 40 years, and regularly takes helicopter aerial photos for the local media. Stephen has been an ITT Board member for five years, and led three high altitude mountain treks to raise money for the ITT official charity, The Alder Hey Childrens Hospital.

In 2019 he formed Stephen Bath Travel to operate day trip air charter flights to European capitals from his home airport of Bournemouth.
