Sophie Nelson is a Trade Partnership Manager at HX Hurtigruten Expeditions, responsible for managing and growing trade relationships across the UK. Sophie had previous account management experience at Avis Budget Group. 

 Sophie began her career during her placement year at university in 2016 as a travel and partnership coordinator at Avis, where her passion for the travel industry was born before progressing to her current position. During her tenure at the company, Sophie has been recognised in the industry as ‘one to watch’ having won and been shortlisted for a number of awards including the AWTE Rising Star award in 2019. Most recently Sophie was included as one of TTG’s prestigious 30 Under 30.

 Sophie has demonstrated her dedication to the industry by volunteering with ABTA Lifeline, where she works on processing application and grants on behalf of the charity which aims to help people in the industry at the times when they need it the most.
