Paul started his career as a travel agent in Sheffield and in 2019 is celebrating 40 years in the travel industry. He spent most of his early career working for some of the country’s best known specialist tour operators, including Yugotours, Balkan Holidays and Sunquest Holidays.

Following the acquisition of Sunquest Holidays by First Choice in 1999, he spent 2 years integrating the company into the First Choice family and after successfully completing that role he moved on to became Sales Director at Jewel in the Crown Holidays, General Manager of the Midconsort Elite Travel Group, Sales & Marketing Director at resorthoppa.com and MD of The Travel Integrity Group before setting up The Travel Rep Ltd, working with, and advising, travel & tourism businesses and service providers both in the UK and within Europe for domestic, outbound and inbound tourism and furthermore, Paul is also responsible for River Cruise Consulting, looking after the interests of many European and Worldwide River Cruise companies.

Paul also sits on ITT’s Education & Training Committee and works with ITT’s Future You on the road as well as sitting on ABTA's Membership Committee, a Campaign Ambassador for the Family Holiday Association and works closely with the RSPB in both the Dearne Valley and in Sherwood Forest.
