Martin Lomax is a travel industry leader with experience spanning tour operating, cruise, travel technology, commercial leadership and product innovation.

Throughout his career, Martin has held senior executive and board-level positions with organisations including Virgin Holidays, Airtours Holidays, Gold Medal Travel Group, Travel Counsellors and other leading travel businesses, driving commercial growth, product strategy, operational transformation and digital innovation across both founder-led and private equity-backed organisations.

Martin has extensive experience within the cruise sector, having led cruise commercial and product strategies at Travel Counsellors and worked closely with leading cruise partners. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative sales, marketing and product initiatives that have delivered significant commercial growth across the cruise sector.

Passionate about experiential travel, Martin has worked extensively across Europe, Asia, North America and South America, developing customer-focused travel products and building strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth. He has a strong track record of helping businesses adapt to changing consumer behaviours through innovation, technology and digital transformation.

Martin is the Founder of Worthwhile Journeys, a travel company creating curated small-group adventures for women aged 40+, bringing together meaningful experiences, authentic local connections and like-minded travellers. The business is built on the belief that travel should enrich lives while delivering positive benefits for the communities it visits.

Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Martin advises travel businesses on commercial strategy, product development, AI and digital transformation.
