Louie Davis named ITT Future You Industry Ambassador 

Louie Davis, Commercial Lead at Whitbread has been appointed as a Future You Industry Ambassador to help continue to inform and inspire the next generation of travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation professionals.

He joins fellow industry professionals, Olly Nicholls (Attraction World), Jenny Kovacs (Queen of Being Seen) Donna Allcock (Tourism Ireland), Lee Ainsworth (Advantage Travel Partnership), Jamie-Lee Abtar (The Travel Marketer), Ben Rogers (Hope Street Hotel) and Michael Long (Expedia Group).

Speaking about his appointment, Louie Davis said “It’s a privilege to become an ITT Future You Ambassador. Since joining ITT’s Education & Training Committee in 2018, I’ve been fortunate to moderate conference sessions, speak at universities and importantly, meet many aspiring travel professionals. Some harbour ambitions of becoming travel marketeers, others product specialists. Wherever their career begins, it’s clear from their energy and intellect that we have a promising pipeline of travel talent. As an ITT Future You Ambassador, I’ll strive to showcase our industry as a great place to work. An industry that is engaging and fulfilling, where people from all backgrounds can learn, grow and achieve their career ambitions”

Claire Steiner, Co-Founder of ITT Future You and Chair of the ITT Education & Training Committee added “Louie has been an enthusiastic supporter of Future You and invested his time to speak at student events, support graduates and help embed the hospitality sector in the various initiatives that we’ve been running throughout the pandemic. It’s been a difficult time for the industry and showcasing success stories like Louie helps to inspire the next generation of travel industry professionals.”

In 2022, ITT Future You surpassed 22,000 students and graduates that have attended its free careers in travel events, since launching back in 2008. Its most recent in-person event hosted in Newcastle in partnership with Northumbria University expanded, to welcome students from across the North East of England, including Gateshead College, Middlesbrough College and Teesside University.
