Professor Jo Potier De la Morandiere: Keep Going Together

As we move between the “active” and “recovery” phases of the Covid-19 response and continue to manage the ongoing uncertainty of the situation, we all know that we need to keep physically safe.  But do we know how important it is to keep psychologically safe, for ourselves and for our colleagues?

How we manage the emotional journey of Covid-19, and arrive at the other side psychologically healthy, is particularly important now as we find new ways of coping and innovating in our lives and our industries.  In her presentation at the Virtual ITT Conference, Jo Potier De la Morandiere, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Associate Director of Organisational Development at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, will use evidence from psychology, disaster responses, and emerging research about the psychological impacts of coronavirus globally. She will focus on how we can make sense of where we are at in our emotional response to Covid-19, and what will help us to feel safe, keep going and remain connected to each other on our road to recovery.

Taking place on 30 September 2020, the Virtual ITT Conference will invite Members to connect via an online event portal to network, hear from leading experts, and share ideas about the future of the travel and tourism sector. Free to Members, you can find out more about the one-day virtual event here.
