Every year, ITT organises a variety of popular events which enable Members to learn more about their industry at the same time as networking in both formal and informal settings.
Annual events include: an overseas Conference, President’s Dinner, Golf Tournament, Summer Party & Student Awards and Christmas Party.
Throughout the year ITT runs Odyssey Suppers at the Groucho Club, Soho and a Future You Conference at World Travel Market. ITT endeavours to find different ways to satisfy the increasing need for events.

Social Media Masterclass - Part II
No one can argue that social media isn’t now an important part of the marketing mix – whatever industry you’re involved in. But the days of simply having a presence on channels like Facebook and Twitter is over. Brands are now using social to deliver real business benefits – from driving traffic to closing sales.

Last year marked P&O Ferries’ 175th birthday. They developed "The Big 175 Surprise" - colourful pop-up celebrations on board and on Facebook in association with Audience Engagement Agency, Designate.com
Every week for six weeks in the summer fans were engaged with competitions, games, videos and conversations.
The posts have created a real buzz and a lovely conversation – one that was shared in Social Media with over 14 million impressions. Above all it was done on a tight budget.
