Affordable is now one of the largest growing UK independent car rental wholesalers which Angela started in her garage, having re-mortgaged the family home, cashed in savings, extended credit on her credit cards and living off beans on toast for the first 18 months! The business expanded at a phenomenal rate and Affordable soon moved to a 3000 sq ft premises with a staff of 34. Angela returned as Managing Director of Affordable just five days after her husband was recovering from a serious neck injury. Six years later she’s still actively involved in the day to day running of the company and continues to develop it. Under her direction it became the first ever car hire ABTA member which sets it apart from competitors. Having gained the personal satisfaction of seeing her hard work and commitment can reap rewards, she intends to bring the commitment to the ITT Board.
