ITT Consultants Directory

In May 2008, ITT will be launching a Consultants Directory on the ITT website, as part of a brand new initiative.

This directory is open to ITT Members only, as we continue to strive in our effort to provide benefits and services to our Members. Consultants must either be individual or corporate members of the Institute.

The Consultants Directory will list consultants by service type, for example: accountancy, marketing, recruitment, training and so forth.

There is a small fee of £100 or £200 for an annual listing; dependent on whether you are trading as an individual or as a business.

If you are an ITT Member and you offer consultancy services to the travel industry, then please get in touch and register your interest in becoming listed on the ITT Consultants Directory.

All you need to do is send the following details to admin@itt.co.uk:

• Your name
  Your company name/affiliation, if appropriate
  A web address and up to 50 words that outlines your service(s)
  An indication of the category under which you would wish to be listed

Tax Helpline for ITT members

We are pleased to announce that we have recently agreed a new membership benefit in the form of a Tax Helpline to be operated for us by chartered accountants Saffery Champness.

All members are invited to use the Helpline for advice on any tax issue. As a guide, Saffery Champness have agreed to make about 20 minutes available totally free of charge on any issue.

The Helpline covers both direct and indirect taxes. Members wishing to discuss a tax issue should call or email:

Adam is a tax manager at Saffery working in their Transactions Tax department. Adam is a chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor, with extensive experience of personal and corporation tax planning and compliance for businesses of all sizes, as well as advising on international tax issues.

David is well known as an adviser to the travel sector on indirect taxes having been the adviser to ABTA and other travel clients for many years. Until recently, David was with Deloitte and joined Saffery last year to establish a practice dedicated to indirect taxes as they impact upon travel.
