The winner of the 2007 ITT Award for Outstanding PhD Research Presentation is Jane Carnaffan for her work on grounded theory and tourism in Peru.

Jane’s research is registered at the University of Newcastle, DARN (Developing Areas Research Network) and TRN-N (Tourism Research Network-North). She is supervised by Professor Nina Laurie and Dr Patricia Oliart.  Her PhD is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
