FAM TRIP - SPAIN

DATE: 26-29 June 2008

VENUE: Alicante and Benidorm

A group of 15 ITT Members jetted off to Spain at the end of June to visit Alicante and Benidorm.

Many were on their first ITT Fam trip and hadn’t previous met any of the other Members taking part. But they needn’t have worried about whether or not they’d get on – the group bonded really well and everyone kept commenting that they’d never laughed so much!

The days were taken up with tours of the towns and major tourist attractions. One of the best highlights was a boat trip to Tabarca Island, a natural marine reserve, where the group had time to enjoy the beach and clear blue waters.

Food was also very high on the list of enjoyable aspects of the trip! The cuisine was excellent throughout and the lunches and dinners gave everyone the chance to meet and talk to the local dignatories who joined them for their meals.

Clive Bishop summed it up by commenting that “the company was great and the trip was a thoroughly good time, though waist busting and liver assasination”. Barbara Stimpson thought “it was most enjoyable and very educational. A new area for me so learnt a lot!!” Which is, after all, the raison d'être of the ITT Fam Trips!

On behalf of the group, ITT would like to thank the SNTO for hosting the trip, and especially Jesus Ruiz Martinez, who proved to be a superb guide!

Please look out for future ITT Fam Trip offers as we would love you to join us!
