The ITT Odyssey Suppers are small, friendly and informal events which provide an excellent opportunity to mix with colleagues in the impressive surroundings of the House of the Commons.

The world of business travel is unknown territory for many people outside that sector. In September’s Odyssey Supper, Andrew Waller took the opportunity to talk through changes the industry has faced over the past five years and Carlson Wagonlit’s move into business travel management.

In an enjoyable presentation, Waller outlined the man challenges CWT, and the industry in general, has had to contend with. Looking at the impact of environmental concerns and corporate and social responsibility, he went through the solutions his company came up with in order to attract and retain business for the organisation. He also discussed the scope and size of some of the accounts that CWT is dealing with and the complexities surrounding this.
