Stella Travel Services UK, part of the Stella Group, famously bought the Global Travel Group in November and created the UK´s largest independent network of travel agents. Stella is confident that the acquisition has cemented its position as a leading player in the UK travel market, with one of the largest groups of independent travel agencies being added to its Harvey World Travel group. Stella also owns Travel 2/Travel 4 in the UK.

As Managing Director, Andrew has been responsible for the portfolio of Stella business in the UK for nearly two years, including acquisitions and organic growth.

Previously he has held various senior positions in the travel industry. He spent 16 months as MD of Travelbag, re-establishing that business following Cendant’s acquisition of E-Bookers. Before that, he was Business Development Director for Travel 2, Director of Sales APAC for Swire Rosenbluth International based in Hong Kong, and he has also held various management roles for Ansett Australia and Air New Zealand based in Australia.
