The ITT Conference will have all the flavour of the Far East, without the need to travel outside Europe!

Delegates will stay at the Barceló Asia Gardens Resort & Thai Spa Hotel, a luxury property located just two miles from Benidorm. It combines the style and tranquillity of the Far East, with the convenience of Spain. A perfect location for ITT Members to work hard and play hard!

Keynote speakers have already been booked, including executive coach and comedienne Ruby Wax; former CBI Director General Lord Digby Jones; The Times newspaper’s Chief Political Commentator Peter Riddell; motivational speaker Col. Bob Stewart and Thomas Cook chief, Manny Fontenla-Novoa.


Early birds can take advantage of a special rate of £395 (£295 for companions) which will be valid until 31 December 2009. In the New Year, the registration fee will increase to £435 for delegates and £335 for companions. Registration fees have been held at 2009 rates.

NB: the 2010 Conference is limited to 400 places and is open to ITT Members only. Companies are restricted to two delegate places each. All additional requests will be placed on a waitlist.

Accommodation

You can book your accommodation at the same time as registering for the event. Rates start from €125 per room per night (including all taxes and breakfast).

A limited number of suites are available on request. You should provisionally book a superior room (to safeguard an upgraded room), then contact the Events Office with your upgrade request.

Extra nights are available from €125 per room per night subject to availability.

Please note: the check in time is 1400hrs and check out time is 1200hrs.

At the time of booking you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit for two nights' accommodation. This deposit will be valued in Euros based on the exchange rate on 1 April. This deposit will form part payment of your final hotel bill. You will be required to pay the remainder of the hotel bill on departure.

Hotel amendments and name changes - £55 per person, per change. Changes must be requested in writing to ITT Events at events@itt.co.uk

Terms and Conditions

- All registration/golf fees and accommodation deposits are non refundable

- Cancellation or no shows will not be refunded and any outstanding amounts will be deemed as owing to ITT

- The ITT Conference is open to ITT Members only. Your registration will only be valid if you are a fully paid member of ITT at the time of the Conference

- Companies are restricted to two delegate places each. All additional requests will be placed on a waitlist

- The companion fee only applies to a marital spouse/partner accompanying a registered delegate, and not to business colleagues or other associates

- Your accommodation deposit will be collected in GBP (Pounds Sterling) and passed to the hotel. The remaining balance will be payable directly to the hotel upon check out, in Euros.

- Any amendments will be subject to a £55 amendment fee (per change). Changes must be requested in writing to ITT Events

Gala Dinner Charity Auction

At this year’s Gala Dinner auction, delegates will be raising funds for one of Just A Drop's most ambitious projects to date. Earlier this year Colonel Mike Reynolds, one of Just A Drop's Trustees, led a reconnaissance team to a remote region of Niger; one of the poorest countries in the world. The mission was to investigate a plea for help from the nomadic Tuareg tribe. The tribe, some five hundred people strong, need two water wells. The Tuaregs do not come under any government control and move during the year between Chad, Mali and Niger following the rains.

Colonel Reynolds said "This is difficult terrain to work in but my team and I are enthusiastic in providing the Tuaregs with a permanent sustainable clean water facility to enable them to maintain their cultural heritage. At the moment the women walk up to five hours a day to collect small amounts of water. The two wells would enable the tribe to create a base and would provide not just clean drinking water, but enough water for their animals and for growing crops for themselves and for sale in the local markets. Raising funds in this way would enable the tribe to pay for a teacher for their children."

Steven Freudmann, ITT Chairman said: "This is an inspired and totally unique project. While it is doubtful that few of us will ever visit this region, the fact that we are helping so many people to have their own clean, safe water for the first time is something every member should be proud of."

ITN's Alastair Stewart, a Just A Drop Ambassador, who will be conducting the auction said: "I'm going to do my best to ensure this project gets all the support it needs. We have some fabulous prizes to auction and even though this is a difficult year for many of us, I hope that ITT delegates will be as generous as ever."

Flights

Delegates should make their own flight arrangements. The nearest airport is Alicante (30 minute drive).

Valencia Airport is about an hour's drive away.

Airport Transfers

Coach transfers will be provided between Alicante Airport and the Conference hotel for arrivals on 6-7 June and depatures on 10-11 June.
